President George Espinal

George Espinal George R. Espinal is the youngest elected President of 34th Precinct  Community Council.

 Mr. Espinal is 21 years old and a student at John Jay College of Criminal  Justice. As an employee of Columbia University, Mailman School of Public  Health at the Center for Youth Violence Prevention, Mr. Espinal works with  his colleagues towards mobilizing the community to implement intervention  and prevention measures for at-risk youth.

 George Espinal is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Friends of Payson  Avenue, Inc. and a member of Community Board 12, Manhattan. As the chairman of Friends of Payson Avenue, Inc. he works towards building unity on the issues that impact the quality of life of the neighborhood. On Community Board 12, Mr. Espinal is working towards his unwavering belief to involve the residents of the Washington Heights & Inwood communities on the issues of Community Board 12. As a member of the Youth & Education Committee he has worked towards education reform and providing resolutions to enhance the services provided by the Department of Education for the district.

President Espinal was elected the President of the 34th Precinct Community Council on July 23, 2008 and was sworn in on September 24, 2008.
